Extra's were a punk band in Albany, NY from
1981 through 1982 according to the booklet. This full length was
originally recorded in 1982 (as their basist was headed to prison) and has
finally been re-released, 20 years later. Pretty good straight forward
punk rock, kinda reminds me of late 70s punk - fast yet somewhat melodic.
Good stuff - very catchy. I haven't heard of this band before (until they
sent me this CD to review), but I'd recommend them to anyone who's into
oldschool punk. 10 stars (out of 10) |
